TDC 01/01 Daniel, a CIA agent, . Wore a specially-made dark-navy suit. It was breathable, fashionable, and functional. Many pockets held many gadgets necessary in his trade, retrieving artifacts. On this foray, he used a a short-range broad-spectrum jammer (a small silver disk), a gun, an active deflector (a dark-blue cylinder to shield him from bullets), sonic grenades, a grapple gun, and an inflatable cushion for when he jumped off the building. Believes in working for the CIA.“The Company needs me, and the country needs me.” He shook his head. “Besides, I do it for one simple reason, Pops. I’m one of the best there is.”

TDC 01/02 Lived in Old Town Alexandria. Owned and ran Rooney’s Antiquities and Oddities, offering for sale—everything from self-playing checkerboards to rare action figures, and all manner of unusual items in between. Nothing too impressive, but nothing too normal either. And worked for the CIA on the side. Lived above the shop with his grandfather. Loved coffee from Killer ESP on King street, hot Stumptown coffee. Favorite mug was a large black mug with a picture of the Green Lantern on the side, Kyle Rayner version. Uses Tommy to get it for him. Had talked to he local bullies, warned them to stop harassing Tommy.

Had a long thin scar down one side of his face that enhanced his charm. It served as a reminder to him to be careful whom he trusted. Sandy brown hair. Likes to play Dungeons and Dragons with friends, as well as in real life.

Doesn't like going to the Starbucks right around the corner. It’s merely like going to a place with too many people in a hurry, and the whole secret magical train station thing only makes that worse.”

Parents are Tomb raiders, chasing artifacts all over the world. He never knows when they will show up. They may still be alive out there somewhere. Being a tomb raider is a dangerous job, though, so probably not.”

Daniel's grandfather finds antiquities for the shop, and sends Daniel after them, giving him papers to read and research, etc. You can do that while helping out in this shop as much as you can during your day job.”

Adages he remembers: You can take the man out of the office, but not the office out of the man. A good man helps those around him when he can, even if they don’t notice. It’s even better when they don’t notice.
