REAL FAMILY TLC 01/2
Herself, her mother, Eireka, who was put in a psych ward 15 years ago for talking about magic, elves, strange animals, etc. her grandmother Mara, who raised her from ten (when her mother was committed) until she disappeared, four years ago. Yumfuck,Troll who adopted her when she was taken to Oriceran to interview the King and Correk her "Cousin", an Orican wizard who helps her adjust to her powers, to Oriceran, and to the problems she will meet in helping the world adjust to the opening of the portals.
AT ESTELLE'S BAR
Estelle, owner, Craig, Mike, Margaret, Scott, Mitzi and her schnauser, Lemon., all regulars at the Bar, where Leira is the official bouncer (Pays her rent money). As in any regular group, they have an allegiance to each other, and will "watch your back" if anyone is in trouble. The group also had formed a bowling team, the Pin Pushers. It was on a bowling night that Leira's magic first manifested itself in public, when she tried to pick up a spare. It was that on night that she found out about the Silver Griffins, and their maintenance monitorship of magic on Earth.
AT LAVENDER ROCK TLC 02/9
Correk takes Leira to a local kemana, Lavender Rock, where she can feel the Earth's energies, recharge, and also meet any group of magic people who might be there. Leira does, indeed, relate to the Earth, feeling an exponential expression of her magic's energies. Goes to top of rock to meet others who are there, who also have magical powers, and are also of mixed heritages, half Earthlings, half Oriceran. Meets Toni first (glass of wine), Jim (likes Yumfuck, gives him cheese), Mary Ellen, nicknamed Molly, who likes to swear, Perry, Lucy and their twins Fran and Fern, Eric (the group's philosopher), and many others. They all adopt her, and, as she feels comfortable around them, also adopts them as her "tribe". They invite her to the coming Full Moon Party. She accepts.
AT FULL MOON PARTY TLC 02/12
Leira, Yumfuck and Correk appear at the Jackalope Bar on the night of the potluck party (Leira brings a pot of three-bean salad). Yumfuck will contribute to the table when he sneaks out tot eh Voodoo Doughnut shop and steals a box of their doughnuts to bring back for the table. Toni greet them, introduces them to Brian (cousin works with the silver Griffins), Jeff (works for Google, puts ancient myth things on the air, introducing aliens to Earth before the portals open), Stacy (half Light elf, half souther Baptist, has been with group over 100 years), and others. All newcomers show off their magic, and Leira did - she levitated. Gossips (Hannah Beecjam name of witch who betrayed Griffins in Chicago), and asks how to break a magical person out of a psych ward.
