Eireka Berens

Eireka Berens is Leira's mother. she had been institutionalized fifteen years previously (when Leira was ten years old) , because she was always talking about elves, dwarves, ghosts, Oriceran, etc., Had ways of handling her constraint - spells that wiped the memory of the attendants so that she didn't have to take her meds, calming spells for other patients. Long brown hair Sporadically contacted Leira to make sure she was all right, but nothing consistent After she was released (TLC 02/18), with a clean record and $1,000,000, she went to live with Leira and Correk, and regained her love of life, rekindling her friendship with Ralph (her mechanic), who introduced her to Donald Entin, with whom she established a lasting relationship. When Mara was rescued from in between (Eireka's mother, Leira's grandmother), she and Eireka lived for a short while with Leira, then moved into their own place, a two-bedroom apartment, and began to live their own lives. Eireka had always had a soft spot for the other gender, and she and Donald soon had a solid relationship. Eireka helps Leira with her magic, fought with her at Lavender Rock, and is a solid supporter of her daughter.
