TUMB 11/11 Tyler maintains contact with a magical source nicknamed "The Eyes" because that's about all you see of him. Not human, and demands prices in energies and bodies, not money.
Tyler went to him for information about the Council. For that information, The euyes demanded a live body, to be bought to him. Condition doesn't matter, just alive. Tyler does so, and receives information (latitude/longitudinal coordinates) that would pinpoint the location of the Council, and their minions. The eyes used Tyler's offering, Stone Hanson, a sex slaver, for experiments on the limits of pain the human mind can stand.

Tyler goes to him only when absolutely necessary.
