TDC 01/17 When Daniel went to California to get the glowing amulet, he and Serena met the group of thieves on the roof of the building, and started to accost them to find retrieve the amulet. A VTOL hovered above the roof. The side doors opened, and six nylon drop lines fell from the craft. They weren’t in uniform, but they all wore jackets with matching crests.

Daniel knew him. “John Hollingsworth V, current CEO and leader of Hollingsworth Retrieval Specialists, AKA tomb raiders. The Hollingsworth men rushed after the thieves, with John going after a man without a backpack. Daniel followed him, thinking he wold know which of the eight thieves would hold the amulet. They all jumped from building to building, and eventually Daniel captured the man he thought had the amulet. Wrong. Daniel looked up, saw the group had again boarded the VTOL, and that one of John's men was wearing the glowing amulet. John laughed, waved, and they roared away.
John Hollingsworth now had the amulet, and Daniel would have to get it from him, some way, somehow.
