TUMB 06/11 Devices worn by individuals, to shield against the power of magical forces - spells, energies, bolts, whatever was thrown at the person. As Magic became more common on Earth in the commission of and the criminals became other-world creatures, capable of destroying Earth's human forces, police departments created forces, called Anti-Enhanced Threat Teams, who specialized in fighting other-world creatures. Maria Hall, in Los Angeles, was head of one of these teams.

One of the primary defenses of the team was the anti-magic deflector, as described above. They had been developed on Oriceran, and were quite expensive, and also quite effective. When Hall's devices were mostly destroyed in one of the battles, she wanted more of them so badly tyhat she went "underground", to Dannec the elf, to get more, and to re-charge what they had been able to salvage. Dannec obliged, and Hall was able to defeat Tessa and her Rabisu at the country Club event.
